On The Ball – Period Products on Matchdays
The Cherries Trust supports the “On The Ball” campaign in asking clubs to provide free period products for female fans on matchdays.
One in 10 girls have been unable to afford sanitary products and 48% of girls feel embarrassed by their periods, so we hope that by providing these products free of charge, the club help ensure that female fans are able to enjoy the matchday experience.
Over forty clubs across the football pyramid, from Everton to Marine have already signed up and are providing products inside the ground. Ladies – look out for them at Fulham tomorrow!
