Notice of Special General Meeting – October 2023
This Notice is to advise you of an upcoming Special General Meeting of the Members of AFC Bournemouth Community Mutual Limited (also known as the Cherries Trust) called in accordance with the Rules 32 to 36 of the Society.
This Special General Meeting has been called for the sole purpose of electing Board Directors. No other matters will be considered.

At the meeting, Members will have the opportunity to:
- Elect up to 7 Board Directors. Candidate Statements will available here after the closing date for nomination on 2 October 2023. The Society’s Election Policy is available here and an extract is given in the attached guidance notes.
- You may wish to stand in the election, details can be found on the Nomination Form, downloadable here.
You may wish to appoint a Proxy to vote on your behalf at the meeting:
- A Form of Proxy is downloadable here.
- Returning the form of proxy will not prevent you from attending the meeting and voting in person in which case your form of proxy will be rescinded.
