Our response is as follows:
Ticket price rises are always difficult, and we appreciate that this may impact negatively on several supporters. We appreciate that the club will continue to offer the opportunity for season ticket holders to separate their payment into multiple instalments with no fee, no interest and no credit check.
We welcome the club’s openness and honesty when having discussions with Fan Groups, in particular the prolonged discussions with the AFCB DSA and level playing field regarding the increase for wheelchair users and the five-year plan in implementation. We acknowledge the club’s review of disabled ticket pricing to address historical anomalies and their commitment to maintaining the 40% base discount, one of the most affordable in the Premier League.
The Trust remains committed to working with AFCB to ensure affordability for all supporters and exploring solutions collaboratively with the club and the DSA.
Cherries Trust are a voluntary, independent, not-for-profit organisation, relying solely on membership fees and donations to cover running costs. We are the only independent Supporters Trust for AFC Bournemouth.
