Cherries Trust Community Fund
As part of the ongoing commitment, in accordance with its Purpose and Objectives, the Cherries Trust today launches the second campaign of its Community Fund Scheme. Our members voted for the Poole and District Children’s Cancer Fund as the Campaign 1 winner’s and they were presented with a cheque for £250 at the end of May.
To launch the second campaign, the Cherries Trust now welcomes nominations via email to community@cherriestrust.co.uk following which:
- The nomination period for the current campaign will close on 4 September 2024.
- Nominations received after the close will be carried forward to the next campaign
- A survey will be sent out to members to cast their votes. The voting period closes 2 October 2024.
- The winning not-for-profit cause, project or organisation will be ratified by the board
- The result will be communicated to members by 9 October 2024.
- The winner will be presented with their donation on behalf of our members during October 2024.
You can find a nomination form here.
Please bear the following in mind when making your nominations:
- The candidate organisation/ project/ cause must “fit” with the Trust’s Purpose & Objectives.
- The benefiting organisation/ project/ cause must be a not-for-profit entity.
