Cherries Trust Donation To Local Cause

Hi all,

As we adapt our lives in response to the growing spread of coronavirus, much as we know it has changed. There are big, national changes – schools and pubs closed, people working from home – but also smaller untold changes to the way we live our lives. Many of us would have been planning a trip to Wolverhampton last week. We’re  sure that we’re not alone in still waking up and checking for football news most mornings. These habits and comforts are regular features of who we are. One thing that unites everyone reading this email is their passion for AFC Bournemouth.

We want to help

As Cherries Trust members, I’m sure you care more than most. Not just about the club, but its fans and what it represents. The Cherries Trust board has decided to make a donation on behalf of its members to support local efforts to help those in need through this crisis, those who need it more than most.

We are open to suggestions on who that might be, so do let us know if anyone comes to mind. Community action groups, food banks, services supporting the elderly – we’d love to hear your suggestions.

We know this won’t change the world, but if it can make life better for someone right now then it’s money well spent. We’ll also be calling on others to support the initiative as best they can.
